Before you shop with us, you can check whether you're eligible for an account.
You can use our eligibility checker to find this out - we'll perform a soft credit check, this means your credit score won't be affected.
What is the difference between a soft and hard credit check?
- A soft credit check is an initial look at certain information on your credit report. This is used by credit providers to decide how succesful an application would be without doing a full examination of your credit history. This doesn't affect your credit score.
- A hard credit check is a complete search of your credit report. Each hard check is recorded on your credit report - this means other companies can see it and your credit score may be affected.
More information on credit checks can be found on the Experian website.
You can use the eligibility checker when you register for an account - if you're already a cash customer, just click 'Spread the cost'!
